Just a follow up question on that buggar thread.

Is it possible that whatever (bacterial/parasite etc) it was that half killed my poor little guy, was introduced to the tank via freeze-dried bloodworms?

Just a thought... and if so should i chuck the grubs i have and get new ones?

i've read a few articles suggesting that 'some' parasites can be transferred to a tank via freeze dried foods. it has all been anecdotal and none of it science. personally, i doubt it.

Ok thanks. Just wondering as that was the only change in the tank, and had been for a week.

Thank you!
