Hi guys. Just looked in at my java moss and it appears to have some hair algae growing in amongst it (thin strands, green, interwoven), also in some of my floating riccia too. What causes this and how could i get rid of it? thanks.
Oops, sorry about the title.

If it makes you feel better, I have some of that on my java moss that's attached to the driftwood. When I can, I just pick it out. As to a cause? Um...it's happy there?
There! You have a bigger tank! Will you stop plotting my death now??

Lol. Thanks Gopi :-) I was thinking about picking it out, but thought it might be a lost cause if it spreads fast.

I have some that I got (unintentionally) from a friend whose tank is overrun with it...if its what we've got you don't want to let it get control!

I got two SAEs and they've been working on it, I think (been about 10 days and it looks like its been shrinking).
