My Betta (jeremy) had a little rip in his fin's when i first got him and over the time i have had him the rip seems to have 'grown' and another little rip is further down on the fin also.
What can i do to stop it?

p.s he lives with an ADF, i don't know if that would help.

thanks

My guppys get torn fins occassionally. If they don't seem bothered by it, I don't do much. However if I see it start to gt redish. or fuzzy it's time to do some medicating.
A good product to drop in your tank would be melafix. It will help it heal faster, and prevent any of those nasty infections from happening. It won't hurt his buddy as far as I ever saw, it never hurt Hermes frog...

Something to watch for is aggression from your ADF, lol. When I would drop food in the tank, it would think Hermes was, infact, the food. Hermes is a walmart betta, with a crowntail. The ADF bit his tail, and it's never grown back....

Kimberly,
You will get far more replies, if you start your own thread, and name it "female betta compatability".
