Well my sister is moving into an apartment, so I got her fishies. 2 guppies and a albino clawed frog. I was wondering if the albino frog will be ok in my tank with my other guppies and 2 ADF? Right now IO have him in a ice cream bucket with a lid-holes in the lid. Sister said they dont need oxygen tubeing. If anyone knows knows anything about these frogs please help me. Are they ok being with ADF's? Thanks

The albino will get big; if he's not moved, the guppies and ADFs will eventually become a meal.

Check out these two great links: http://aquaticfrogs.tripod.com/index.html and http://www.mypetfrog.org/

The ACF (African Clawed Frog - Xenopus Laevis) is a wonderful pet.

Clawed Frogs WILL eat anything they can catch and stuff in their mouths....they ain't at all picky :-)

And, like Lisa said, they get fairly large, so keeping them with most fish isn't an option. I do know a couple people who keep them in large tanks with Goldfish, but that's the only thing I know of.

He should be fine w/o filtration. Just make sure you do frequent water changes.
