i'd say Metriaclima callainos, but it's not a particularly good specimen and likely to be a 'mutt'.
you're never too old to have a happy childhood.

The profile (overall) and color in the dorsal looks like a cobalt (M. callainos), but the body/tail color is off.
Would you post pics from a wider angle with more even lighting? I can't tell whether I'm seeing the actual body color or a trick of the light. It Sho Nuff looks like a cobalt, except for the darker body color...
I have a 2" cobalt (callainos) that I'd be happy to photo for you to compare your fish to. Males are really bright blue where females are more subdued.
