shape of the head would indicate, to me, that she is indeed a she.

Fronts are harem breeders. One male. 4-6 females. need big tank.

Watching them grow is awesome. I have always wanted a large Frontosa community. I envy you ....you have all this room for larger cichlids!!

Dont notice much of a hump on that fish...males almost look swollen headed when mature.
Filter and heater $80
65 gallon aquarium $280
Gazing at your Apistogramma for hours on end.....
PRICELESS!!!

Right now we still have room ..we have 19 fish tanks in a large basement finished off room..and one community tank in our living room.. however if we keep seeing new fish to buy i am sure we will meet our capacity too.. and it is so hard not to take just "one More Home".. either because they are beautiful, or unique, or underfed or because you need them.. LOL.

I have just topped off at 6 tanks with not much room to grow unless I find a place to relocate my computers...which isnt likely. My wife has already claimed the other rooms in the house for non fish related purposes! LOL.

Theres always additions right?? LOL !! I wish I had a basement.

6 tanks is quite enough to keep you busy.. and yes you definitly need a basement.. my floors would never hold that kind of weight.. just think though you don't need to walk down a flight of stairs to see your fish.. the way we do.. we also have horses so upstairs is filled with horsey things ..downstairs fishy things.. enjoy!!

Yea flyingfish and I heard hes selling them, cant Imagine how much Ive seen fry for $50 each.
An interesting note the group had an alpha female also that was larger and"in charge" of the other females, the guy said the smaller less dominant females produced more eggs though.
