I've had my Multi's since 12/22 and today I noticed 5 little guys swimming around. My first spawn!

I'm just glad they just needed time to grow up. I thought the ratio of 5 males to 2 females would limit possibilities. I love this hobby! Glenn

If you have surplus males in the tank, you quite likely had fry before now that were eaten by the bachelors. If these begin to disappear, you'll know for sure.

I had to remove my bachelors to a separate tank, to be successful at growing out some wives for them...

True, but it seems they are all terrified of the Alpha Male, and don't dare cross the sand barrier. Now that I know I have at least one breeding pair, I'll be more prepared. I'd like to find someone who wants a couple of males but have had no luck with the GCAS.org. I'm really not interested in having another Multi tank at this point either. Thanks, Glenn
