We have a beautiful 3 year old fantail a little over 4 in. body length; she has grown out of her 20 gal. We have purchased a 55 gal. and are getting ready to start cycling it. We are planning on getting another fancy to help get things rolling in the other tank and hopefully keep Tiger company when she is relocated. (We know that eventually we will have to upgrade the tank size or split them if we do our jobs properly)We have a Aquaclear 70 we would like to use for the mechanical filtration but wonder what our best bet for biological would be. Should we install an underground and use powerheads or should we consider a bio-wheel or something like that? Any advice would be really helpful.

Thanks alot,
Susan & Beth

the filter cartridge in the mechanical filter should be enough. Thats part of the reason why the sponge is there.
