Theoretically speaking, if I were to cycle a brackish tank with bio-spira, which one would I use? The marine, or the regular? Is this even possible and has anyone tried it?

use regular. To be honest, I'd use it on a freshwater tank and add salt slowly over the course of 1-2 days, starting it with ammonia, then doing a water change and adding fish.

However, I've never used biospira, so yours may be the first venture in this arena.
