I was asking at the pet store, but of course I don't always trust them. It's a long story so I won't go into the details. It's all about proper stocking. So, can a platy be brackish?
The guy at the store seemed to think I was a little strange (ha, if he only knew. LOL). He looked it up in his book and said they can be but they won't mate well. (which is fine with me.)

platies are the ones listed as being fully freshwater. Some breeders add some salt. I wouldn't keep them in full brackish water.
