Hi all! Thought we should start a new thread on this discussion
as the other is taking so long to load.
Just a big "heads up" for all of you asking and/or
having problems with algae. In the Sept. 2001 "Aquarium
Fish" magazine, there is a very good, in depth article
entitled "A is for Algae". It describes the different
types and tells you many different ways to get in under
control, even to the point of giving you species of fish
that will eat the certain kinds. Good article for those
who can obtain a copy. For those that can't get one,
let me know, and I will try to summarize the article for
you.
Another "very interesting" article concerns testing
the water. Finally, there is someone out there with "my"
point of view on this subject.

Thanks KICK,
Is that magazine available now for purchase? And where can
you get it?

Claude, most of the LPS's carry it. Sometimes you can
find it at some Walmarts. It is a very good magazine and
really worth subscribing to. Are you in the states? Let
me know, and I can send you an insert where you can sign
up for subscription.

I agree it was a great article. I'm glad I subscibe
to the magazine(subscription rate is pretty inexpensive).
I always wonder why they send it out two months in advance??
Tropical fish magazine is usually pretty good too, but it
is more expensive and not as available in the LPS stores.
