Best prices and selection in town....Staff is very knowledgable on fish and supplies. Always after the customers interest.

Aqua Zoo Pet Store carries everything from tropical fish, to saltwater fish, to goldfish. They have lots of tetras, tangs, mollies, goldfish, gourami, swordtails and catfish. They also carry a large bird department and sell small animals and pet supplies and products. Staff was congenial and easy to work with and knowledgeable.

Aqua Zoo Pet Store has a huge selection of salt water and fresh water fish including tropical fish and ordinary gold fish. Aqua Zoo has a lot of tetras, tangs, mollies, goldfish, gourami, swordtails and catfish. The staff is very knowledgeable and interested and seem to love what they do. It is a great store and also sells a lot of aquariums and fish tanks and other pet and fish products and supplies.

Great store. Fish of all kinds. Swordtail, molly, tetra, guppy. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Aqua Zoo is great!

Upon first entering the store I was extremely impressed with layout and amount of stuff to look at. I found the staff extremely patronizing and agree with other poor reviews re: staff here (you too huh?) Prices seem way high and staff IS concerned much more with putting money in register than any customer side concerns (IMHO) Was a nice place to visit but I will never go back there...

This is one of the biggest "LFS" in the Tampa area. If you need it they have it or can get it. Keep in mind that you will pay through the nose for it on most items. About the only thing they are decently priced on are the items or fish that everyone in town carries which forces them to be competitive. The only decent employees are an older gentlemen who focuses mainly on live plants, Mike (?), he orders everything and Ray, but unfortunately for us customers and the store Ray no longer works there.
Then there's Mark (?) the owner. What a tool! This guy couldn't be honest if he had to. My wife and I had established a pretty could rapport with the staff, to the point where Ray or someone else would give a decent trade in amount on unwanted fish or surplus fry. This was great until a previously negotiated item was left at the store for trade. Once we arrived to use our credit Mark said he did not know anything about the item (it was on his desk). Mark then proceeded to call my wife a liar. When confronted about the issue he proceeded to try and place the blame on one of his managers.
Support the other games in town. And if you just gotta have it, order online!

Decent store. I use them exclusively for saltwater needs. Livestock health questionable at times. Large selection of fish and corals. Corals are priced moderately high. Huge selection of supplies for both fresh and saltwater tanks. Staff knowledge ranges from inexperienced to experienced. Guilty of looking to make a sale at times and not looking after the interest of the livestock or customer. There are only a few employees who do this. Staff spends too much time hitting getting high and it shows. My second favorite LFS despite the negatives due to the experience employees and huge selection.

Great livestock selection here. However, I just purchased a whole 75G SW setup. I got everything home and after many different issues with the equipment, I discovered the lights that the employee recommended would not operate inside of the tank canopy. Since the canopy arrived a week late, I had already thrown away the original light enclosure box. I called to ask if I could return the lights without the box and the employee curtly denied. Now I am stuck with a canopy that I can’t use with the lights they suggested. I am completely unhappy with my purchase and my attorney will be contacting them if I can’t get resolution once I speak to the store owner.

The few fish they have are sick looking, the corals way overpriced. The only "decent" tank in the store has nothing for sale?!?!? They'll be out of business soon...

This shop has just doubled in size to include 1 full store of freshwater and 1 saltwater next to each other. Great stores,great prices and selection in both. Freshwater has a huge buy one get one free sale every Sunday!

You already have this store posted but I wanted to add another comment as this store is one I highly recommend. They sell HEALTHY freshwater and saltwater fish, have a wide variety of fish and live rock, and they gladly will order if you need something. The people are very happy to help you, and Linda ( I think the owner?) is always there to help, advise and work with the customer for as long as you need her. They are a little over priced with their fish and live rock, but not by much and I'd rather pay the extra cents and get the service and quality they offer. A+ store

They carry fresh water and salt water fish. They also carry African chiclids. The tanks were very clean and the fish were very healthy looking. It's a mom and pop shop they were both friendly and helpful. I will go back there again.
