Being the only pet store on this side of the International bridge, I think that our little pet shop is wonderful. They have all kinds of fish, marine and tropical. They also have alot of small critters and reptiles, and there are some birds, too. If they don't have something you want, they will get it. Fish carried are various types of cichlids, sharks, puffers, goldfish, tetras, algae eaters, plecostamuses, crabs, and loaches. But, if it isn't in stock, they will get it.

A Marine specialty store. They are set up like a Greenhouse. They grow and propogate all their own corals in large holding tanks. Their store hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5pm. They are closed to the public the rest of the week. They have the best prices I have seen on their livestock and that even includes mail order

Saltwater, specializing in Mini Reefs--Everything you can dream of, everything your heart desires!!! This place is like Seaworld and it will make your average fish store look like a tattered, under-stocked cardboard box :) An amazing day trip, see little sharks still in the egg with their yolk sacks! A tank full of nurse sharks! Unusual varieties of clown fish! Beautiful mini reefs and sea horses! The staff is amazing and super knowledgeable. Rating: Five stars out of four! ***** I met the president/owner, Richard Perrin, and we spoke for about 40 min. He's super approachable, down-to-earth and extremely knowledgeable. He started in the early 1970's and has bred all his creatures from his original stock. He's well published, works in conservation of species and has the largest place in the tri-state area. He started small and now his place has something like twelve 15' x 6' x 4' indoor open-top reefs featuring all kinds of corals, anemones, sharks, plants, clams and more--almost all the reefs have with cypress trees growing in them! Probably 100 kinds of species tanks including unusual and varied species and subspecies of fish and inverts. And outside, he's got a great freshwater pond! All of this along with all your marine needs, incl. live rock and live coral sand. Prices are great--they ship--and if you're lucky enough to live nearby, you can pick up a bargain if you want to nurse a coral back to health! The website hasn't been updated in a year (they will be updating soon), but the owner says they answer their email promptly.

Wonderful shop! Only pet shop in our small town, but they stock excellent fish. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Offer a 48 HR guarantee on fish and always willing to work with the customer. They have sold me the healthiest and most beautiful fish I have ever had the pleasure to own! They carry many different breeds of tropical fish. Mostly small to medium freshwater and some saltwater.

Mainly bread and butter, some better plants, plecos, and Africans. Sometimes have rarer stuff like wild caught tetras and plecos. SAE's avail most of the time. Staff VERY good. Managers and several clerks have over 5 year experience each...

A must see! It is truly amazing! I visited this fish store out of research for my own tropical fish store and boy am I glad I did! They put even Seaworld to shame! Their gorgeous display of salt & freshwater fish were a delight to see. The lionfish especially - they were so healthy looking! In the middle of their saltwater display they have five open faced tanks. Each tank is about six feet wide by eighteen inches deep and contains everything from fish to live rock to anemones to live coral - this list goes on and on. You must see it to believe it!

Everytime I have gone in this store I have had nothing but a positive experience. The people are great and very helpful. Lots of variety in terms of the animals they stock. The best part about the store is a giant tortoise roams the isles!

I had heard a lot about this store from my parents. They had visited it about 15 years ago.However, after visiting it in May, 2003, I was very disappointed. First of all, the store smelled so bad I had to cover my mouth at different times. The large room that the kittens were kept - they had no blankets or nothing to sleep on - their food looked like it was about 3 days old, and their water dish was almost empty. The fish department was just as bad if not worse. There were dead saltwater fish laying on the floor, crushed coral everywhere on the floor. The back of the tanks were completely open and the smell was almost too disgusting to list. If it were up to me, this store would be shut down. I wish the original owners were back - I am assuming however that it was taken over by different owners. By the way my parents talked, there is no way the current owners owned this pet store years ago.

This small shop is easy to miss, and going into it is like walking into a cave. However, the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable, and the fish!! They specialize in cichlids and have a great selection, all in excellent health. We purchased an oscar and two pacus from them, and they are the most colorful, hardiest fish I've yet seen. Also got excellent advice on feeding, etc. These people know their stuff, and the overall quality and health of their fish is outstanding.

WOW! This store is dedicated to aquatics only and it shows. The selection is the best around and the staff is very knowledgeable. They have huge varieties of freshwater and saltwater fish and their outdoor pond display area is the best I've ever seen and I travel a lot. They have a 1500 square foot warehouse dedicated to Koi and Goldfish. I love visiting other stores and this is by far the best dedicated aquatics store I've come upon.

AMAZING selection of freshwater fish. They have more species of tetras than I have ever seen at another pet store. They have green fire tetras, blue tetra, and cardinal tetras. They also care enough about their stock that if it is cold out, they won't order fish that are difficult to transport in the cold. They are very knowledgeable and well trained.

Great selection of marine and freshwater fish/plants/inverts. One warning though they sell "cured" live rock(not the premium live rock they have in their tanks) I've bought some of this and now fighting a glass Anemone infestation.

This store recently relocated to old town Lansing. The owners really did a great job. It's a must see store. I've traveled around the country and have not seen another store that can compare.
