Better than your average LFS a little more pricey than the Big chain stores, but this MOM & Pop chain of 3 stores are definitely worth looking into. A+ for Cichlids & Tiger-barbs.

This store is probably the worst LFS in the St. Louis area. The store is rarely cleaned and smells very bad. The fish are extremely unhealthy and the tanks have so much hair algae growing on them that you can barely see in them. Andy is very unhelpful and acts like customers bother him. I went in to purchase some coral and walked right back out due to the lack of help and the smell of the store. This actually used to be a nice store too.

This store is just awful!! yes they have lots of fish, but the quality is horrific! my boyfriend and I were walking through looking at all the fish, and both made comments on how sick most of them looked! in fact there were two very large, very expensive fish dead in one tank, looked like they'd been there for quite some time!! They had firebellied toads that all looked diseased, I kept firebellies for years, theirs are sick!! besides all the dirty tanks and sick fish, the prices are INSANE!! I almost choked when I saw how much they charged for a clown fish! I could order 3 of them at fosters and smith online plus shipping, and I'd be better off!! This place needs to be inspected or something, I feel so sorry for the inhabitants! WILL NEVER SHOP THERE!

The store has a wide variety of animals and fish, but it smells strongly of smoke in the store. Also there were quite a few dead fish this last time I visited in the tanks, which is unusual but worried me.

This store does not look very big on the outside, but actually has a much better selection and more reasonable prices than the normal chain pet stores. They stock common salt,fresh, and pond water fish, as well as many that the owners simply enjoy. They are more than willing to get a specific type of fish, if requested. The staff is fantastic. These are not the normal high school students, but trained, knowledgeable, experienced pet owners who have worked at the store a long time. They take the time to shoot the breeze with experienced customers, as well as the time necessary to answer/offer advice to newbies. They have been helping me set up my first 10 gal. tank, explaining natural fauna, biofilms, good starter fish, where to go if they don't have the best price, etc. They also have a variety of reptiles, coral, birds, and tank supplies.

This is a great little pet store! The people that work there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their animals!! Great quality of fish, clean tanks, healthy fish!!

I never made it into the store I had a run in with one of the owners who became upset to the point of cussing at me for what appeared to be me parking in his spot. He refused to park until I moved.
