I am the girl who ALWAYS comes with her mom into your store. I think your store is absolutely wonderful. I love your animals. By the way the animals look,the staff probably takes very good care of them. In fact, I wish I could work there even though I'm only 11 years old. But,I'm turning 12 soon!

I have found that all the pet stores I've been to Jacks is the one I like to buy my fish from. They carry freshwater and saltwater. Their tanks are well taken care of and their people help you out alot. Supplies for any animal you might own.

Honest, helpful, and experienced staff. Wide freshwater selection, including Brackish water fish. Also a variety of saltwater fish. Easy 10 Gallon and 20 Gallon starter tanks. Clean tanks, clean store, plenty of accessories.

Pretty neat and clean store. Good collection of fish. No exotics or marines, but healthy fish. (No obvious signs of parasites/overcrowding/overfeeding/disease)
A little lacking in the depth of supplies, but feature at least two kinds of each filter type etc.
Good plant collection. Plants tend to grow nicely and dont *brown out* when brought home.
Pet shop policy includes quarantining fish, and knowledgeable folk - they wont sell you four oscars for your ten gallon.
Disadv : They do sell gf bowls, and they do carry bettas in cups.

There is just about every type of fish found here that you'd ever want. Each continent (except Antarctica, Europe and N. America) has its own section with tons of species of fish, as well as different regions of the sea for Marine Fish. In all, there are close to 450 tanks, and around 1000 species of fish. There is also an extensive dry goods section with tanks ranging in size from 5.5 to 275 gallons, as well as just about any type of necessity or accessory you'd want. The staff is very helpful and full of information. If you have a question, they can answer it.

Importer and breeder of Malaysian Discus. They have over 400 Discus in stock at all times, not including all the babies! They have some Discus strains that I have never seen in the USA. As I understand they also ship their fish. I was very PLEASED with the Discus that I bought(Shinning Puzzles)3-1/2" body size not including the tail or fins, they say those are FREE! I highly recommend that if your looking for QUALITY DISCUS with GOOD prices, you need to contact these people!

Fantastic selection for a store it's size. All of the tanks are extremely well cared for and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Took the time to package my fish in extra large bag, included lots of water, and placed in a Styrofoam container for my long trip home.

This is the Only place you want to buy fish in the Dayton area! Be cautious shopping anywhere else around here! Note that all the area locations are within a few to several miles of each other and each has a different selection of fish.

This store just opened recently at the local mall and its a pretty different pet store. They have a really big selection of cichlids and other freshwater fish. Plus the thing that put them apart from other stores is some of their different animals like hedgehogs, flying squirrels, and some crazy looking tropical birds. They also had a whole bunch of nice looking puppies that were purebred and they had all sorts of animal merchandise. Definitely a bad place to walk into with a credit card!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Petstores are horrible anyways but this is just sick. The puppies are all in "deep sleeps" (hmm... wonder why), they are extremely unsocialized, and one puppy labeled a Cairn Terrier (defiantly not one) was sick. He had very smelly, mucousy diarrhea and runny eyes and was laying their motionless. The poor thing was so weak it wasn't even phased when people touched it. They have been reported, but they were reported before for sick animals and weren't closed down. Please, do not support pet stores that sell dogs and cats, ESPECIALLY this one.

A modest sized shop but better than most. Very good selection of Saltwater fish & corals. Many unusual freshwater fish, cichlids, odd balls, etc. Knowledge is much better than other local stores. Tanks are very well kept, fish look very healthy. Prices are much better than other stores too. Can order in anything!!!!!

Chris and Kelly Gimbel are very knowledgeable people. They have a variety of fish from guppies, tetra's, cichlids, salt and freshwater and then some unusual kinds,and live plants. They're tanks are ALWAYS clean. They carry all kinds of food and supplies on the market. They are friendly people that actually will ask YOU questions before selling you a fish. Such as your tank size, what fish you have already...etc.. Chris will also test your water for you. You can call or stop in the store and ask him any question and he is more then willing to help you out. He also carries reptiles..snakes, lizards, etc.. Give 'em a call today! They love their fishy friends just like we do!
