Jacques is always very assistant, gives good advise and is really very cheap! He knows his fishes and will tell you what fish to keep together and what not. Your decision then if you really want to mix. He is not in for the sale. Will attempt getting fish for you as well and is always willing to buy back want nots and fish that out grew your aquarium.

These people are quality driven and the owner is extremely knolegeable about all the products and livestock they keep. The best kept,clean tanks by far.The staff is good and always very helpfull and friendly. Always able to advise you, and wont sell fish with a new tank. Definately the best store in the area. 10/10

Great place. Small premises, but well stocked. Prices are good and attendants do not bullshit in order to push sales. A good story about them: The owner refuses to sell fish to a newbie on the same day the newbie buys the tank - tank must run for a week first. This guy's definitely my fav.

Some nice healthy looking fish, but the attendants arent well informed. I asked about a spiny eel that they stock, he says they will eat flakes and sinking pellets as it is a bottom feeder. Also told me their fully grown size is only ~20cm. Prices are ok but do your own research...

I would like as many people out there to know of the disgusting service this Pet Shop has to offer!! After supporting this shop for almost two years it has taken just a few moments to make sure that I will never be visiting this shop ever again!!!! I have purchased a small Re-Sun air pump from this shop and was looking for a new propeller that fits it, well after leaving my name and number and being told someone would contact me, I ended up phone not just once to see if the order had come in but a number of times, always being told that someone would get back to me! After week four I phoned again this time speaking to the SENIOR MANAGER of the shop (what ever that means these days who knows), only to be told that my product was not there and the Re-Sun shipment was only coming in next year!!!!! I explained that all I needed was a simple phone call to be told that the product was unavailable and perhaps offer some alternatives for my pump and tank but I was dismissed with an attitude of "SO WHAT MUST I DO LADY, THE PRODUCT ISN'T HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I am disgusted that in this day and age where there is fierce competition with business especially in South Africa, one phone call could of made the difference between me being up set and angry to a helpful store who could have offered me some help! In the interim I have lost 3 Guppies and One female Sword fish and had to make major adjustments to my very simple tank! What a pity, I will be letting everyone I know about this pathetic excuse of a manager and their useless store!!!!

Fish section is always well stocked. If they don't have something, they will offer to get it for you. Range of fish accessories is very good. Shop staff are extremely knowledgeable about fish. Unfortunately, there are one or two shop staff that are clue-less. Please take note that this shop is not huge. I rate it four and three quarter stars out of five.

Excellent hi! a huge thanks to guys at pets aquaria. Being a total novice at aquatics I went to visit and was most impressed by what's on offer. a truly beautiful selection of livestock which includes marines. After spending sometime browsing and after speaking to the guys I decided on a marine tank. I was fitted out with everything I needed and followed the guys advice. a few weeks later my marine aquarium looks like its been running for years. I have had no livestock losses and I am thankful to Wayne and Fareed for their assistance, excellent prices and great service. Highly recommended!!

WOW!!! a HUGE store with everything for cats dogs birds and of course fish! The store is still new. When I went, one of the assistants told me that they were only open for 2 weeks and the place was humming with people. Their aquatic section has about 80 well maintained and well stocked tanks with 4 koi ponds. Friendly, personal service, neat, clean, tidy and the lowest lowest prices I have seen makes this pet store a definite 10/10!! Go have a look. Ciao

I read the recommendation of the previous writer and decided to pay Pets Aquaria a visit. Well, what can I say...I left the store very very impressed with the quality of the goods, products, service and of course loads of stuff for my animals ( did I mention that I have an African grey parrot, 3 cats, a dog and an aquarium :) ) not to mention change in my pocket cause the prices are CHEAP on everything. Unbelievable!! A definite 5 stars. This pet store is well worth the visit and i will definitely go back. Regards, Ryan

Following the reviews and advice of the previous writers and after much deliberation (I live in Robertson, a small town about 200km outside Cape Town)I decided to pay the store a visit and yes I have to agree...FANTASTIC!! a large variety of healthy tropical and goldfish. They stock all the brand names like hagen, waterlife and sera and there are notices up in the store that they will be stocking marine fish as well. The shop is well stocked and the prices are absolutely excellent, where else can you get eheim filters for nearly the same price as a fluval? all the fish are bigger than average, jumbo neons 10 for R40.00 and large platys 10 for R30.00 and oh yes what a joy beautiful beautiful plants for mahala. The guys know their stuff, I needed some help with a co2 system and got the advice I needed. I also managed to find a much hunted for water feature pump at pets aquaria. The range of products for all animals is mind boggling. The pet stores in my town and surrounds are definitely no match. What else...go see for yourself, you might just fall in love with a hand reared african grey parrot like i did..my trip was definitely worth it.
