Bill has operated in Pullman for over 20 yrs. He has about 60 tanks with fish,
and various reptiles. He is generally present while the store is open. He
hires 2-3 additional staff, usually WSU students. Staff is knowledgeable and
helpful. All incoming fish are quarantined in a back room for one week before
being placed in display tanks.

Comments:
The store has VERY healthy fish, a strong variety of fish, and frequently gets new breeds. New fish are kept in quarantine tanks until they are deemed disease-less, then they are put in the regular tanks for sale. Even the GOLDFISH have very clean, healthy tanks. I have never seen a dead fish in one of their tanks.
The employees know a lot about many fish, but will often ask other employees who know more than them about particular breeds if they don't know themselves. Additionally, if they simply don't know they'll admit it kindly rather than come up with estimated or false facts. Additionally, the owner (Bill) is VERY knowledgeable about all breeds, very friendly, and will absolutely go out of his way to help customers. He's been in the business for 30+ years from what I've heard. Also they occasionally take in fish that have outgrown owners tanks in exchange for some in-store credit. The store also has tanks, decoration, filtration, meds, food, pretty much whatever you need. I've heard Bill will also special order for you if you request.
By far the absolute best fish store I have ever visited.
Fish sold here include, but are DEFINITELY NOT limited to:
- Oscars
- Royal Pleco
- African Cichlids (many breeds)
- Frogs
- Glass Catfish
- Glass Perch
- Dwarf Gourami (special breeds like sky blue)
- Bristlenose Catfish
- Jack Dempsey
- and many more (mostly fresh-water) breeds...
There's also a magnificent approximately two foot long White Arowana on display (not sure if it's for sale or a store pet).
