Common Name: Croaking gourami
Size: Up to 2.75 inches (7.6 cm)
Habitat: Asia: Thailand to Viet Nam and the islands of Sumatra, Borneo and Java.
Min Tank Size: 24" or 20 gallons.
Diet: Omnivorous, flake foods, frozen or live. Will also accept some fresh vegetables if in small enough pieces.
Behavior: Peaceful and somewhat timid, males are territorial.
Water: PH: 6.0 to 8.0, Temperature 72° to 82°F (22 to 28°C), dH range: 5 - 19
Care: Medium, The tank should be well planted
Communities: Best in a species tank. Can be kept with other small calm fish.
Suitability: Not for beginners.
