Min Tank Size: At least 55 gallons for a specimen. 125 gallons for a school
Diet: Carnivorous, will accept flake frozen or live.
Behavior: A active and predatory Characin, keep singly of large schools of 8 or more.
Water: Temperature 73- 82°F (23-28°C), dH range: 6.0 - 18.0, pH : 6.0 - 7.5
Care: Medium, needs well oxygenated water.
Communities: Can be kept with fish its own size.
Suitability: Best in species tank.
