Diet: Omnivorous, They will eat some vegetation and plant/algae material off of rocks and wood, but make sure to feed them in addition: vegetable tablets, live, or flake food.
Behavior: A peaceful species that won't harass or harm others.
Water: Temperature of 72°F to 77°F (22°-25° C) , pH range: 5.5 – 6.8; soft to medium hardness, KH 3-10, dH 0-12.
Care: Be sure to supplement their food as they are not exclusive algae eaters.
Communities: Can be housed with other peaceful freshwater fish.
Suitability: All experience levels, excellent addition to community tanks as a bottom dweller.
