Size: Up to 2.75 inches (7 cm)
Habitat: SOUTH AMERICA: Amazon River basin.
Min Tank Size: 20 gallon long (75 litre), heavily planted.
Diet: Omnivorous, flakes, blanched vegetables (zucchini, cucumber, lettuce), bloodworm, grindal worm, tablets and algae wafers.
Behavior: Bottom opportunistic feeder, Peaceful, enjoys the company of other psilogaster fish in groups.
Water: Temperature of 73°F to 81°F (23°-27° C) , pH range: 6.0 7.2; dH range: 2 - 25
Care: Keep up on water changes, and provide broad flat surfaces to easily rest on as with any sucker fish. Should be added to established tanks.
Communities: Great with other peaceful species.
Suitability: Good for any aquarist except in a newly started tank.
