Common Name: Clown Pleco
Size: Up to 5" (8cm)
Habitat: SOUTH AMERICA: Rio Orinoco Basin (Venezuela), Rio Las Marinas (Venezuela) and Colombian Llanos.
Min Tank Size: 36 inches 29 US Gallon.
Note: The "L" numbers for the plecos can be confusing for all but the experts. The general requirements are basically the same for all the plecos. Full grown size has to be considered when planing to add them to your aquarium.
Diet: Herbivore, prefers algae, should have driftwood.
Behavior: Peaceful in community settings.
Water: Temperature 75°F to 82°F (24°-28° C), ph 6.6 to 7.8, dH range: 2 - 30.
Care: Needs good filtration and wood on which to feed.
Communities: Excellent.
Suitability: Ok, if you can meet its needs.
