Fish Stories

I have a tank with some assorted fish and one day I was with my friend at the pet store. We are both aquarium lovers and she needed some new fish. As I gazed at the huge variety of fish, I came across a tank of purple dragon guppies. I loved them. I made sure that they would be okay in my tank and then decided to get some that weekend. I did, and I went with my friend. While we were riding in the car on the way back,she asked to hold them. I let her. As she looked at them, she had a strange expression on her face. To my surprise, she said one guppy was pregnant. I looked at them and realized she was right. It has been a little less than a week and she didn't look as pregnant. I searched for babies, but could not find any (I am on a tight fish budget and hadn't yet gotten a place for her). Finally, in the corner I saw one, single, solitary baby that was very paranoid. I quickly got him out and into his own tank. It has been a day or two and I have still been searching for more babies. I hate to say it, but they may have been eaten. At least I am fortunate enough to have one.
